I would have to say that most people who discover Incognito love it, based on conversation with locals and online reviews. The outside doesn't look like much but once you get inside, it has a very Euro modern nightclub look to it. Whenever I've eaten here, the food has been good. At different times, they've varied the menu to include classic Portuguese cuisine and what I'd call creative bar food. Before 9 pm (maybe later on the weekend, I suggest you check), it's mostly a restaurant atmosphere that can accommodate medium sized groups and celebrations. After 9, Incognito transforms to a club crowd that is a refreshing mix of college age, young working people and older folks like myself. People tend to get dressed up to come here at night. It's also very LGBT friendly, though I don't think of it as a 'gay bar' at all. Everyone seems to get along and interact. Entertainment can be anything from a karaoke show that attracts some of the best voices around, to top local DJs who often do theme nights. People come dressed to the theme and dance their tails off. About once a month, they host a Drag Brunch. I haven't gone to it myself but I hear that it's hilarious. Reservations are a must for that one.
